“Not A Moment to Spare” -Oil on wood panel- 12x24"

This work was conceived after hearing this popular idiom and it reminded me how often we hear these familiar phrases, but rarely do we seek to learn what they really mean. Does it mean, “I have no more time to give you” or “Time has just completely run out”. There are likely many meanings for this. Yet I chose to believe that it means “I have not a moment to spare, I have hours to give you”.
